Caroline Hoeg

Head Coach (2027, 2031, 2033/34)

A Long Island native, Caroline played her collegiate lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University, where she was a Big Ten leader in ground balls (2nd) and caused turnovers (3rd). She led her team and anchored a defense that ranked second in the Big Ten in goals against average. As a First Team All League player from Mt. Sinai in New York, she led her team to three New York state championships as a goal scorer and relentless midfielder. She played at the club level with the Long Island Yellow Jackets for 9 years.

Michele Uhlfelder

Head Coach (2029, 2027)

A Baltimore native, Michele Uhlfelder was an All-American at the University of Maryland, selected to two NCAA National Championship All-Tournament teams and the ACC 50th Anniversary Team. She was a 15 year member of Team U.S.A., winning 2 goal medals. Coach U.’s college coaching experience includes Duke, Stanford, Old Dominion and Occidental. She pioneered west coast lacrosse, being the first to take a west coast team to the NCAA tournament and first to have players selected as All Americans. She was a World Cup assistant coach for Team Canada.

Cara Urbank

Head Coach (2028)

A Long Island native, Cara was an All-American at Boston College. Recognized as All-ACC and a Tewaaraton Watch List member, she is one of a handful of college athletes to be a member of a Final Four team every year of her college career. A 2021 NCAA D1 National Champion at Boston College, she helped lead her team with 82 points that season, 39 goals and an impressive 43 assists to lead the Eagles. Cara attended high school at Sacred Heart Academy in New York, where she was an All-American.

MacEllen “Mac” McDonough

Head Coach (2027, 2031)

From Colorado Springs, CO, Mac played collegiately at Jacksonville University and at the international level with the Israeli National Team. The head coach of Cal Lutheran University, Mac’s previous college coaching experience includes Claremont-Harvey Mudd-Scripps.

Sammy Edwards

Head Coach (2029)

A Los Angeles native, Sammy played collegiately at Loyola College in Maryland. He was the first Southern California player to sign with Loyola.
Sammy is a graduate of Beverly Hills high school and was recognized as league Offensive Player of the Year. In addition to coaching Alliance National and Alliance Los Angeles, Sammy coaches Santa Monica Vikings and is a private coach for girls and boys.

From Erie, PA, Diana Oduho played collegiately at Tiffin University where she was a two year captain. Diana also serves as head coach of Arizona’s Xavier College Preparatory’s varsity team.

Tara Chelios

Head Coach (2028)

Originally from Detroit, Tara played collegiately at Northwestern University. A multi-sport athlete, in high school Tara was a four year letter winner and captain in both lacrosse and hockey.

James MaGill

Head Coach (2033/34)

Originally from St. Louis, James is the Varsity Head Coach at Carlsbad High School. He has also coached in La Jolla and Webster Groves (MO). James’ athletic background includes football, basketball and baseball. His daughter is a sophomore at Towson University in Maryland.

Ella Brislin

Head Coach (2032, 2029)

From San Diego, Ella played collegiately at the University of California, Davis. In high school, Ella helped lead her team to two Open Division Championships and was selected after her senior season as the USA Lacrosse West Girls’ Player of the Year. At UC Davis, Ella was a four-year starting midfielder and currently holds the program record for most draw controls in a single game. As a captain in her senior year, Ella helped lead her team to qualify for the inaugural Big 12 Conference Tournament.
